Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) are fundamental to TAUW. We foster a speak‑up culture with zero tolerance for discrimination or harassment, and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment in which everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to be their authentic selves. Equal opportunities for all employees and candidates are at the heart of how we work.

We recognise that vibrant living environments, just like the solutions we design, thrive on a diversity of perspectives. Our passionate teams, with unique backgrounds and expertise, strengthen our “diversity of thought” and enable us to craft the best possible solutions for our clients and society. Diversity, inclusion and equity are explicitly embedded in our Code of Conduct and are therefore part of our daily work.

Our DEI Progress in 2025

In 2025, TAUW took important steps to further shape and structure our DEI ambitions. Early in the year, we established the TAUW DEI Taskforce, a cross‑border group of colleagues who work together to coordinate, align and strengthen DEI efforts across the organisation. A key milestone was the development of TAUW’s DEI vision, this vision sets a clear and collective ambition: to build a workplace where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued, and where diversity is fully embedded in how we work, collaborate and grow.

To give direction and focus to the years ahead, we defined three key DEI focus areas:

  • Gender equality: promoting balanced representation and equitable opportunities across all levels.
  • International cooperation: strengthening collaboration across countries and removing barriers to mobility.
  • Neurodiversity: recognising and supporting diverse cognitive strengths within our workforce.

Throughout 2025, the DEI Taskforce collaborated with internal stakeholders to build shared understanding, align terminology and prepare the foundations for a multi‑year DEI roadmap. 2025 marked the beginning of a long‑term journey. With a shared vision and a dedicated taskforce in place, TAUW is well positioned to further integrate DEI into our everyday behaviour from 2026 onwards. We believe that when people from diverse backgrounds can truly be themselves, we create an enjoyable, safe and inspiring work environment, and deliver the best outcomes for our clients and society.
