Within this two-year partnership and with this film, TAUW and M&N Media Group aim to bring the importance of healthy soil to the attention of (Dutch) society, companies and public parties as widely as possible. We entered into this partnership because, like M&N Media Group, we are committed to a world where nature and human activities coexist harmoniously. Through a strategic connection with M&N Media Group and the film, TAUW as an environmental and engineering consultancy can make the importance and urgency of healthy soil even more concrete and tangible.

The makers of successful films such as ‘De Nieuwe Wildernis’ (The New Wilderness) and ‘De Wilde Stad’ (The Wild City) are responsible for the production. The ultimate goal of the project is to structurally change how we manage the soil, to show why soil matters and to enable the recovery of soil life and to value soil life.

A healthy soil is essential for shaping a vital living environment and making a future-proof contribution to a more sustainable world. However, if we continue as we are now, the soil will be depleted. The film shows what needs to be done on a large scale by focusing on the world around us and the fascinating world directly beneath our feet.
