At TAUW, we’re dedicated to creating a work environment where everyone feels safe and is empowered to speak up. Whether encountering a potential hazard in the field, a concern about social interactions, or an issue with data security, we encourage immediate reporting and even stopping work if you feel unsafe. We believe that together, we can build a culture of safety, at any workplace, both in the office or outside in the field.

Data security is a shared responsibility, and every employee plays a vital role in safeguarding sensitive information. In 2025, TAUW strengthened its cyber resilience with the launch of a new Data Security Awareness Platform. All employees were onboarded to this digital platform, where short, practical micro‑learnings are released every three weeks, tailored to individual knowledge levels. The platform also sends AI‑driven phishing simulations, helping colleagues recognise suspicious emails and practise safe responses. We also organised a dedicated Data Security Week, offering learning moments and practical tips to reinforce cyber awareness across the organisation.

During the week, colleagues were introduced to our five new safety values, rooted in our core values Care, Connect and Improve. These values highlight speaking up, working as one team, providing safe and healthy conditions, celebrating safe behaviour and taking a broader view of safety, health and wellbeing.

Through local activities and our group-wide Safety Quiz, employees engaged actively with the new policy and reflected on how each of us contributes to a safer TAUW. Building on the foundations laid in previous years, Safety Week 2025 helped further embed safety as an integral part of our daily work and our collective ambition.

We prioritise a safe working environment from the start of our projects by actively recognising and implementing meaningful safety measures. At TAUW Group level, we elaborate closely on a corporate safety approach and programme by sharing monthly safety topics, statistics, and lessons learned.
