Young TAUW International

Young@TAUW International (YTI) is TAUW’s network for employees under 36, designed to connect young talent across borders and strengthen international cooperation from the ground up. In 2025, YTI focused on reinforcing its organisational foundation while continuing to bring young professionals together to learn, grow and collaborate.

YTI’s mission is to foster a vibrant international community of young professionals who contribute to innovation, personal development and TAUW’s strategic ambitions. By connecting colleagues from different countries, the network helps TAUW attract, retain and develop emerging talent, while supporting a culture of collaboration and openness.

In 2025, YTI enhanced its internal organisation by establishing a clearer structure and appointing two ambassadors in each TAUW country. These steps make the network more resilient and ready for future growth. Two international face‑to‑face meetings in Leuven and Milan allowed the team to refine its direction, explore new ideas and gather valuable input from surveys across the organisation.

International mobility remains a key element of YTI. The Flexworking Programme once again enabled young professionals to spend time working in other TAUW countries, strengthening cross‑border collaboration and building an international mindset within the organisation. These exchanges continue to broaden perspectives and deepen cooperation throughout TAUW.

With a strong foundation in place, YTI is preparing for its next phase of growth. From 2026 onwards, the network will focus on four annual activities designed to connect young colleagues and inspire collaboration:

  • Annual Event: uniting young professionals in one host city
  • Business Blind Dates: sparking international professional exchanges
  • Christmas Pub Quiz: strengthening community through shared fun
  • Flexworking Programme: continuing international mobility

To support these ambitions, YTI is inviting additional supporters to join the network and help organise upcoming initiatives, including the next major gathering in Milan in 2026.
